Hotel Clariana

San Jose, California

An eighty guestroom hotel and restaurant, Longwell MacDonald was hired by the architects to design an intimate courtyard that functions as temporary parking and drop-off area for guests. The courtyard was designed with bio-retention vaults under the permeable paving that capture and treat the stormwater from the site before entering the soil.
